THE CARBON REGISTRY

ALLOCATION OF CARBON CREDITS

In order to accurately track all carbon credit transactions, as well as the availability of credit inventories, NatureLab is making its carbon registry available to the general public. This tool transparently tracks the allocation of unique carbon credits to companies and individuals who offset their ecological footprint in a comprehensive and easy-to-use data table. The carbon registry is an initiative to support NatureLab's vision of tracking and transparency in its operations and to encourage other responsible and sustainable environmental initiatives.

HOW TO USE THE CARBON REGISTRY

Carbon Credits

First, each row in the interactive table represents a unique carbon credit transaction resulting from an offset, where a unique number is generated for easy identification. In fact, you can easily track your carbon credit purchase using the carbon registry search tool and your unique number. We use only high quality credits (Gold Standard, VCS, CDM) to ensure that your GHG reduction is real, measurable, third party verified, permanent and additional.

Trees planted

Next, each transaction in the carbon registry is marked with the date of offset, the sustainable development project from which the carbon credits originated, and the planting site where the trees are planted and maintained. As a result, it is possible to track all the information associated with each offset, both in terms of carbon credits and trees planted.

The forestry map

Finally, it is possible to refer, from the carbon registry, to the interactive map of tree planting projects in NatureLab's urban and semi-urban forestry program. As each ton of CO2 offset by carbon credits allows for the planting of four additional trees, NatureLab has developed a tool to illustrate relevant details about the plantation sites, including the number of trees planted, the area reforested, the species of trees planted and the maintenance plans for each site.
